The café located 02 School Rd, Riwaka has novelty gifts, Chili sauces, Honey, cold drinks and a large range of confectionery and of course coffee to go.

Anne Marie has been more focused on Retrotonic and dress making so ladies it is worth the trip out. In store we have four labels, all local seamstresses that make one off garments of exceptional quality. Miscellaneous furniture items and bric-a-brac make up the rest of the store.

Retrotonic amalgamated early 2011 and we have employed Ann who is our jack of all trades. She is responsible for our advertising in house, shop fit outs and Barista. Also on the weekends she operates a brunch menu 9-1pm. Our web site is due for a huge up grade so keep a eye out for that one .We have consolidated some of our coffee blends to keep the price down (30% rise 2011 for green beans from Trade Aid)

What are we up too?
Well it’s a bit early in the year to have any major plans but
new labels are being used on our in house and café bags (yes it does feature me again) and some street signs being made early this year. Back up sales of Espresso equipment this year i.e. Espresso machines and Grinders. Barista training continues with classes in house and on location at no charge.

AUSI TOURISTS VISIT OUR AREA.
Duncan,Jenny,John and Tricia from Brisbane Australia spent a week in the area exploring. They took part in what Motueka ,Takaka and Riwaka has to offer. They visited the usual tourist attractions Farewell spit, PuPu springs, Kaiteriteri beach and Mapua. While dining in numerous restaurants and cafe's they operated a simple yet interesting score for the wines and the coffee they consumed. On there last day in Riwaka the list was emailed to me and I was plesently suprised to see Resurgence Coffee
